Hot Job Highlight: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Tulsa, OK (Industrial Equipment & Automation)
Reports to: Engineering Manager

We’re partnering with an innovative industrial equipment manufacturer to add a Senior Mechanical Engineer to their engineering team. This role blends hands‑on mechanical design, technical leadership, and real‑world manufacturing and field support, with a strong focus on automated machinery and robotic systems.

What You’ll Do
- Lead mechanical design of complex industrial equipment and automated systems
- Create and review 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings (SolidWorks preferred)
- Develop complete engineering documentation, including drawings, BOMs, and specifications
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to mechanical designers and drafters
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Assembly, Field Service, Quality, and Procurement
- Support prototyping, testing, validation, and field troubleshooting
- Perform mechanical analysis (stress, load, tolerance; FEA preferred)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with QMS requirements, design controls, and applicable standards
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 7+ years of mechanical design experience with industrial equipment or automated machinery
- Strong SolidWorks experience (AutoCAD a plus)
- Proven experience designing moving mechanical systems and assemblies
- Solid understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
- Comfortable supporting both manufacturing and field operations

- Senior‑level engineer from industrial automation, heavy equipment, robotics, or machinery OEM environments
- Hands‑on designer who also enjoys mentoring and elevating others
- Strong problem‑solver with experience addressing real‑world production and field challenges
